Cleveland Castillo possibly texted Conrad in The Summer I Turned Pretty. The text became the cause of a panic attack.

Conrad received a text at the end of Season 2, episode 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Conrad Fisher is a lead character in the Amazon Prime Video original series, The Summer I Turned Pretty. He is an A-student and a pro athlete.

He is a responsible and serious guy who has his priorities straight and the kind of boy Belly had desired for her whole life.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is an American teen romantic drama TV series created by Jenny Han for Prime Video. It is inspired by the author’s novel Trilogy, The Summer I Turned Pretty.

The summary of the series explains it as a story of a young woman named Belly who spends a lovely summer at her family’s beach house and notices that her long-time crush may be more than just a crush.

Lola Tung (Belly) features as a teenager who falls in love with two brothers, Conrad Fisher and Jeremiah Fisher played by Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno.

The teen drama first premiered on June 17, 2022, with the first season consisting of seven episodes.

Before the first season premiered, it was already renewed for a second season with eight episodes.

Each episode has a run time of 39-57 minutes. The series resembles “The Vampire Diaries” which also is a love triangle where two brothers fall in love with the same girl.

Who Texted Conrad In The Summer I Turned Pretty?

Cleveland Castillo possibly texted Conrad in The Summer I Turned Pretty. The text was received at the end of episode 3, Season 2.

We can only assume that the text could be from a buyer who wishes to buy their beach house or from his school since he was missing it a lot.

At the end of the episode, we see the Fisher brothers have a moment together on the dock. Jeremy feels that everyone is moving away and it is the beach house that is binding them all.

Conrade goes to Finch University in the Summer I Turned Pretty. He is accompanied by Jeremiah, Belly, Anika, and Taylor.

Conrad assures him that everything will be fine. Saying that they agreed to a movie night.

“As It Happened One Night” movie starts to play on the TV. Steven (Belly’s brother) spots Conrad checking his phone and heading out for the beach.

What Text Did Conrad get On TSITP?

The text Conrad gets on TSITP could be about an offer to buy the house from someone. He only cared about saving the beach house in respect of their late mother.

During this episode we see Conrad and his friends trying to stop Julia, Conrad’s Aunt, and Susannah’s half-sister who tries to sell the beach house, Cousins Beach. So he may be stressed.

Or the text could be about the school. If you remember, Conrad left Brown during finals, and his roommate informed Belly and Jeremiah that if doesn’t rectify his mistake by coming back he will fail Biology.

So the text could be an email from Brown stating that he’s on academic trial.

However, it seems like Conrad would not have a panic attack from the school stuff since he told Jeremiah that he doesn’t care about school.

Why Does Conrad Have a Panic Attack In Season 2?

Conrad has a panic attack in Season 2 because he receives a text possibly about the beach house. He moved out after his phone beeped and shortly he was struggling to breathe due to the attack.

Sadly, we do not know the contents of the text so we can only suppose that the text was either related to his late mother or the beach house since he was concerned about just the two things at the moment.

Episode 3 shows the fight to save the Cousins Beach from Aunt Julia but Conrad, Jeremiah, and Belly (played by Lola Tung) aren’t giving up.

However, following the previous episodes, Conrad lost his mother and he was losing his mother’s house as well. He has been trying to save the house in every possible way.

And when he received the text, he collapsed.

The decision to sell the house was made by Susannah’s half-sister Julia, who owns the house together but shared a cold relationship.

Legally, the house is hers, and Conrad and his father are helpless as they don’t have money to buy the house apart from paying Brown’s tuition and medical bills.

They are not ready to lose their mother’s house, which she loved the most. To Conrad, it was like losing her all over again.

The thing that hurt him the most was the For Sale sign in the yard as informed by one of his friends.

Aunt Julia doesn’t seem to waste time and is in a hurry to sell the house.

Things are not great with Belly and Conrad, and they are fighting their feelings for each other.

Conrad wants to save the house and hopes that he can use his and Jeremiah’s trust money to save the house. However, their father doesn’t give them access to the trust.

The ending shows the boys trying to watch a movie together, but when Conrad receives a text and moves out, Steven finds him having a panic attack.

What Happened At The Funeral In The Summer I Turned Pretty?

Conrad sang a song at the funeral in The Summer I Turned Pretty. It was “Last Kiss” by Pearl Jam.

His mother Susannah Fisher played by Rachel Blanchard always wanted him to play that song. Belly promised Conrad that she would not leave his side for the rest of the day.

She passed away, after failing a cancer battle. It is similar to what happened in the book.

It was a heartbreaking funeral. Susannah always waited for the kids in the kitchen, where they had lots of chats and food.

Belly was her friend’s daughter so she loved her like her daughter. Belly was deeply moved by her demise.

However, she tried her best to console the two brothers.

After the service ended, they went home, and Belly went to Jeremiah and tells him that she can get him food if he wants to go upstairs.

While she prepares the plate, Steven volunteers to take the plate to him.

Meanwhile, she goes in search of Conrad. She finds him upstairs resting in the arms of another girl.

She was angry and hurt because he did not take help from her but from another girl.

She moves out of the room angrily followed by Conrad and makes a scene in front of the guest.

They yell at each other and say hurtful things to each other, all right after Susannah’s funeral.

Conrad concludes by saying it was a mistake to begin something with her. Likewise, Belly replies to never see him again.
