Don Cheadle is an American actor who starred in Ocean’s Eleven, a 2001 film starring some of Hollywood’s best-known names at the time.
Despite having a significant role in Ocean’s Eleven, Don Cheadle goes uncredited. This is due to a billing disagreement.
Don Cheadle desired to be billed above George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt. He refused to be credited at all when he was refused.
This was not Cheadle’s first experience with this; he was also left out of the Rush Hour 2 credits.
Other films in which Don Cheadle has appeared include Out of Sight (1998), Traffic (2000), The Ocean’s Trilogy (2001-2007), and No Sudden Move (2021)
He won his first Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for the soundtrack Miles Ahead.
In 2022, he won a second Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for his narration of John Lewis’ audiobook Carry On: Reflections for a New Generation; he also won a Tony Award for Best Musical for his work as a producer on the musical A Strange Loop.
