Maury Wills was an American professional baseball player and manager who played actively from 1959 to 1972 and served as manager from 1980 to 1981. Maury Wills is a three-time World Series champion and a seven-time Major League Baseball All-Star Game member.

Maury Wills has been a great personality in the world of baseball and despite his greatness, he was not inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

According to reports, Maury Wills was not able to steal his way into Cooperstown and was rejected by the baseball writers for a number of years making him unable to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Maury Wills played for teams like the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, and a second stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Maury Wills then went ahead to serve as the manager for the Seattle Mariners from 1980 to 1981.
