Stone Foltz Death Was Confirmed From Hazing Incident, Girlfriend Maddy Borja Still Remembers Him

Stone Foltz died from a hazing incident at an off-campus party raised serious concerns. He was a sophomore Bowling Green State University student who died of alcohol intoxication.

Foltz attended an off-campus event for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Bowling Green State University.

Stone was trying to join the fraternity, was found unconscious by a roommate after the alleged hazing ceremony.

Bowling: Stone Foltz Death From Hazing Incident Explained

Stone Foltz died of an alleged Hazing ceremony conducted by Pi Kappa Alpha off-campus last March. Foltz was 20 years old at the time of his death.

Eight guys were charged with hazing on April 29, 2021.

The six of them were charged with manslaughter in connection with the incident.

Pi Kappa Alpha was permanently removed from the institution in April 2021.

Stone’s death reignited calls for Ohio’s General Assembly to implement “Collin’s Law,” a bill that would make hazing a felony.

Foltz and the other new fraternity members arrived at the off-campus residence known as the “Bando” by members at 8:30 p.m.

Before being escorted inside single-file, they were outfitted in formal attire and taught to use their ties as blindfolds.

They were shoved and shouted at while being led to the basement and disoriented by loud music.

They then began to consume the whole of their bottles.

Foltz finished his bottle in 18 minutes, according to one eyewitness.

Stone Foltz Girlfriend Maddy Borja Update On The Incident

Stone Foltz’s girlfriend Maddy Borja was the first to call 911 after seeing him lying unconscious on the floor.

According to the complaint, Foltz turned blue and purple until he passed out. Borja then called an ambulance while McKenzie tried CPR.

Unfortunately, medics could not bring Stone Foltz back due to an extended loss of oxygen.

Foltz was transferred to Wood County Hospital, then rushed to Promedica Hospital in Toledo after paramedics arrived at 11:25 p.m.

He had a blood-alcohol level of—394 g/dL.

Doctors could not save him despite their best attempts, and his body was readied for organ donation.

On March 7, 2021, Foltz passed away. However, he could donate his heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and other organs.

The university has placed the Delta Beta Chapter on indefinite suspension.

Pi Kappa Alpha nationals suspended the chapter and criticized the Delta Beta Chapter’s activities.

All Greek life activities at BGSU were suspended for the semester, including recruitment and off-campus events until each chapter could submit a recommitment plan.

The Pi Kappa Alpha Greek letters were removed from the on-campus fraternity house on March 7 because the organization had lost recognition as a student organization.
